Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville The 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. In addition, she played the leading role of Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister, Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for an additional entry after she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a major player on the Nashville series in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples as one of the most popular actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
